I’m a writer based in New York City and Providence, Rhode Island. I mainly write about cooking, chefs, and food. I write about a lot of subjects but my main concerns tend to revolve around how food and cooking affect our lives. We are the only animal that cooks. We are the only animal that tells stories. That’s what I explore in all my work.
 
This is my new site. It’s in the works but for now it’s to spread the word about my new cookbook, From Scratch. But it’s also a place were I can still write, perhaps share a Friday Cocktail hour, or vent  about something that really pisses me off. Or something I love and want to share.
